![]() Needless to say I quite enjoy KZ's multiplayer even if I'm terrible at it While there is only one fixed spawnpoint, spawn beacons are very easy to set up and most maps allow multitude of routes which allows you to avoid the "line of scrimmage", playing around it instead. Clever turret makes a brilliant defense etc.) I may agree that the role of ammo boxes is not heavily pronounced, but rarely you can find yourself lacking for anything but grenades.Īssaults function very well solo, but they are also able to drop temporary shields and, if chosen, aoe stun the enemies. When I play, supports still pick a decent mix of turrets/drones/respawn points and they do influence the battle significantly (well placed spawn point wins objectives. I enjoy having all weapons unlocked (though it does fell that selection, while very distinct, is quite limited) and the combat support you mentioned is still there due to how skills are designed (at least for assault/support, I never played scout). I cannot relate to pacing of previous installments / Halo as I never played any, but I could not disagree more with your XP/unlocks/support incentives statement. Shadowfall just doesn't do anything well and that's clearly reflected in the low population count. Why would I choose ammo for my teammates when I could personally have an awesome offensive ability? In Shadowfall.there is no point to this for pubs. ![]() With XP systems you're rewarded for giving your teammates ammo, health, a turret defense, repairs. Spawns on set sides doesn't really present any form of map control. Sometimes you lose objectives due to pure luck. What your left with is a game where you run form corridor to corridor with no really motivation to do well with guns that don't feel radically different or interesting. ![]() All the verticality from the previous games is almost non-existent. Movement is slow, so with jetpacks gone and mechs gone, the game is sluggish. Making custom classes is boring since some weapons are just better than others. The in game scoreboard is a vertical list (terrible idea) so even if you're carrying your team it doesn't reflect. Killzone isn't really competitive and it doesn't include progression so it falls into a grey area. One aspect that I enjoyed from MW2 or Halo is the cosmetic unlocks. Honestly the progression is still there, just in the form of attachments and kit upgrades, which feel contrived. Not having any progression doesn't support its lackluster gunplay, map design, and UI. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
