![]() William Parks is an editor at Game Rant with a background in visual arts. Meet Your Maker is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Indeed, the fixed-nature of these items means that players will need to plan their Outposts around them, taking some time to figure out how they can be incorporated into the build. ![]() For the uninitiated, those objects are the foundational blocks, GenMat, and Forsaken Tombs that appear in every one of Meet Your Maker's Burial Sites, and it is wise to get familiar with their positions before starting a build. One final thing to mention is that the inability to rotate placed items means that a Burial Site's fixed objects really cannot be altered in any way. This will cause a translucent red rectangle to appear in front of the trap, which indicates its kill zone, and it can be quite useful for maximizing kills and expediting progression in Meet Your Maker. Notably, there is one additional command among the rotation controls, and it is "range preview." To use this control, players must simply point the reticle at a placed trap and press the appropriate input. Specifically, fans can use the d-pad to rotate the item horizontally and vertically, and the joysticks to rotate it clockwise and counterclockwise. For full clarity, that input is L2 or LT, depending on which type of controller the player is using, and holding it makes it possible to rotate the selected objects in several different ways. Once an object has been chosen, Meet Your Maker players must hold the More input that is indicated in the top-left corner of the screen. RELATED: Meet Your Maker: How to Raid a Friend's Outpost This could be a block, decal, prop, guard, or even certain traps, and fans will be able to move the object around their Outposts in Meet Your Maker after one has been picked. As such, the first step in the process is selecting an item that is capable of being rotated from the Build Menu. ![]() To begin, it is important to establish that it is only possible to rotate objects before they have been placed. Indeed, some console players may be unclear about exactly how to rotate items in Meet Your Maker, and this guide is here to point them in the right direction. While the way that this is done is quite clear when playing on PC, as the relevant controls are displayed on the left side of the screen, the rotation process is slightly more complex in the console releases. I have tried raising the motor a quarter inch at a time on the Tempest and going up one quarter inch didn't make much difference but up 1/2 inch and gained RPM, but lost lift and speed. As players build their Outposts in Meet Your Maker, there will be times when they will want to rotate the blocks that they are placing. In all these tests we forgot to fill the livewells but at least all tests were the same. Again this is still full tournament load and full fuel. RPM reached 5700 with a GPS speed of 69.4. Hole shot with this prop was strong with out a stop watch I really couldn't say it was any faster than the other two props. Next prop was a 26 pitch Bravo that has eight ventilation ports. The Legend hull corners very well with the three blade prop, I honestly didn't feel there was any room for improvement there anyway, same with the hole shot the boat jumps out of the hole with the tempest so there wasn't any room to improve there either. Cornering and hole shot were good with no significant difference over the Tempest. This prop performed well and did increase RPM's to 5800 full tournament load and two people, however the speed dropped to 68.9 and would flash 69 occasionally The boat handled very well appeared to have a little more lift but not very significant compared to the Tempest. ![]() So Robbie (Realdealprops from the site here) sent me a 25 pitch Trophy. I have been wanting to get the RPM's up closer to the 6000 mark that Mercury wants this motor running at. The original prop is a 27 Tempest, RPM's with this prop run 5500 and on a cold day we can get 5550-5600 and GPS to 71.2 We are running a 225 Pro XS at about 3.75 inches below pad.Īll tests were done with full tournament load and fuel tank. Well we finally got to play with a couple props on the Legend.
